Our History

Serendipity began in the Union Block building on Sept 27, 2004. In May of 2007, a fire burned the Union Block building destroying everything within it. Serendipity was then relocated to the Sleeman House at 129 E. Broad St. Renovations to the historic building included a 4,000 square foot expansion. Over the years Serendipity has continued to grow to over 20 team members and enjoys serving more than 12,000 clients per year.

In September of 2020 Keri and Jerry Burns purchased Serendipity Spa of Linden. They have since added "The Waiting Room" cocktail bar as well as a summer beer garden overlooking Linden's beautiful Mill Pond. Keri and Jerry love seeing the community enjoy our outdoor events, from a Kentucky Derby themed celebration, to an Autumn Pancake Bruch. Keri and Jerry and staff are looking forward to a future of continued development and exciting endeavors for Serendipity.
